Women Affairs

The main project that ARAA implemented in Women Affairs sub-sector was “Women at Risk”, considered as a unique project in the region. This project was supported by three donors, namely, UNHCR, UNAMA and the US PRT for the period of one year. The aim for implementation of this project was to seek a durable and sustainable solution to the problems of women who were at different risks. It was a significant and successful project for protection of women rights. By implementing this, ARAA has provided assistance to more than 144 women who suffered life threatening risks. Through this assistance, they succeeded in overcoming their problems and joining the society with safety and dignity in their lives.
