The major activities of ARAA were focused in this sector in response to immense needs of the society for reconstruction and construction projects in different sectors. ARAA has so far implemented 69 small and big construction projects in western region of Afghanistan. These projects included construction of one, two, and three story buildings for schools, clinics, governmental offices, kindergartens, construction of irrigational structures such as culverts, aqueducts, drainages, construction of bridges, retaining walls, septic tanks, etc.

ARAA’s main asset is its in-house engineering and construction design section, which has successfully designed all construction projects we have implemented so far. At the same time, ARAA owns construction machinery assets, needed technological tools and equipments for successful and sustainable mobilization and implementation of any type of construction project.

• B) Construction of a two story building for a women-managed Kindergarten in Herat City. This project is also funded by the Italian PRT in Heart, which we consider as a significant project for the community, particularly for women.
