Ahmad Fahim Aram, born in 1993 in Balkh Province, Afghanistan, is a dedicated humanitarian professional with more than nine years of experience in program management, protection, and human rights advocacy. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Balkh University in 2014 and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Management at the Kazakh American Free University in Kazakhstan. In addition to his academic qualifications, he holds diplomas in IT, CIT, and DIT, along with over 30 professional certifications, including Project and Program Management from USAID-funded initiatives.
Fahim joined the Ansari Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (ARAA) in 2018 as Project Manager and Head of Office. In 2022, he was appointed Country Programme Manager, leading multi-sectoral humanitarian interventions across Afghanistan. His leadership is grounded in international humanitarian principles, including SPHERE Standards, Do No Harm, and the UN Code of Conduct.
In 2022, Fahim represented ARAA at the Basics of International Humanitarian Response (BIHR) workshop organized by the United Nations in Bangkok, Thailand. Known for his strategic vision, analytical skills, and dedication to safeguarding vulnerable populations, he has successfully managed complex projects in challenging contexts, ensuring principled and timely humanitarian assistance.
